Copia Power (Copia) today announced it has executed a $1.71 billion debt facility to fund the construction of its Maricopa Energy Center projects. Lenders provided a commitment for a construction loan, term loan and letters of credit.  

Copia Power (“Copia”) today announced the execution of two Power Purchase Agreements (“PPAs”) with Arizona Public Service Company (“APS”) for Phase I and Phase II of the Maricopa Energy Center project (“Maricopa”), a 550 MW solar energy generating facility and 2,200 MWh battery energy storage facility located in Maricopa County, AZ.

Copia Power (Copia) today announced it has executed a $1.24 billion debt facility to fund the construction of its Centennial Flats Project. The facility consists of a construction-to-term loan, a transfer bridge-to-tax equity bridge loan and letters of credit.

Copia Power closed a $519 million tax equity commitment with J.P. Morgan for the Harquahala Sun 2 project, a 300 MW solar facility and 300 MW/1200MWh BESS facility located in Maricopa County, Arizona. The project is expected to reach commercial operation in Q1 2025. This is the second phase of the multi–GW Harquahala Sun industrial complex to be constructed over the next three years.  

Copia Power closed a $135 million tax equity commitment with Santander for the Harquahala Sun 1 project, a 150 MW solar facility located in Maricopa County, Arizona. The project is expected to reach commercial operation in Q2 2025. This is the first phase of the 2 GW Harquahala Sun complex to be constructed over the next three years.

Copia Power (Copia) today announced it has executed a $1.2 billion construction-to-term loan financing to fund the construction of its Harquahala Sun 1 and Harquahala Sun 2 solar plus storage projects.
