Chief External Affairs Officer
Ryan Galeria is the Chief External Affairs Officer at Copia Power, where he leads the company's regulatory, customer, and stakeholder engagement across its portfolio of gigawatt-scale energy and digital infrastructure campuses. With over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, Ryan works at the intersection of policy, commercial relationships, and community partnership to advance projects that integrate power generation, energy storage, and digital infrastructure.
Ryan previously served as Chief Development Officer, Power at Copia, where he led interconnection, permitting, real estate, and development for the company's multi-gigawatt pipeline. Under his leadership, Copia advanced gigawatts of projects into construction. That hands-on development background shapes his approach to external affairs — engaging utilities, regulators, cooperatives, municipalities, and our customers to unlock interconnection, transmission, and load solutions from a project's earliest stages.
Before Copia, Ryan held development roles at sPower and The AES Corporation, beginning his career in the geological and environmental sciences. He holds a B.S. in Geological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and is based in Southern California.
